International Day of Women and Girls in Science
Today is International Day of Women and Girls in Science. Since 2015, this day has recognized the role that women and girls play in science and technology. Women are still underrepresented in science. We at Borstel are working to change this and are pleased that we have been able to fill more management positions with women in recent years. But there is still a long way to go!
We would like to say thank you today! Thank you to all Borstel women - whether in the laboratory or administration, whether in training or in the external group - for their valuable work at the FZB. Because only together and with the support of all departments is top-level research possible here!
