Welcome to Human Ressources of the Central Administration. Together with the board of directors and the management of the hospital we are coordinating the payroll accounting and control the personnel costs to guarantee permanent employment. Our major task is the individual support of our colleagues from engagement until resignment from our institution. We want to support our colleagues in all questions concerning their employment relationship.

The finance department is responsible for the entire financial and accounting processing of all business transactions at the research center.

The principle of the work is to support the research operation and the employees while respecting the legal framework of our funding providers, such as the state budget regulations.

The purchasing division is responsible for ensuring that the flow of goods at the Borstel Research Center runs smoothly and economically on the basis of public procurement law. The aim is to bundle requirements, process them centrally and standardize them using technical solutions. This includes the procurement of all goods and services that are important for research, infrastructure and administration.

Welcome to the Technical Building and Construction Management (organization chart). It is our duty to stand on the side of the scientists at the Research Center to help them realise their research assignment. One of our main duties is the servicing and maintenance of the buildings and the constructions and the park. We advise the planning of technical and constructional measures. We organise and carry out all moves within our site. We are also contact persons in the field of protection of labour and nature.

In the field of patents the Research Center is working closely with the Life-Science IP assetmanagement company „Ascenion“. This work is focussing on the drawing up of cooperative agreements and the administration of the patents.
