In the group of Allergobiochemistry we are devoted to the isolation, chemical and functional characterization of important structural or antigenic carbohydrate, lipid or glycolipid moieties of environmental or bacterial origin relevant for the dynamics (sensitization, tolerance induction or exacerbation,) of allergic inflammation.
